The objective of this project was to learn about softgoods design and development, while focusing on creating products that revolved around chidlrens health and wellness. 

After interviewing multiple children, many expressed frustration revolving around their lunchtime activities. I set out to design a lunchbox that was customizable to fit with a child's ever changing interests and preferences.

This was the first time I'd designed and created patterns for softgoods products. It was an enjoyable experience investigating different types of materials and the many ways to sew them together. 

The structure of each pouch is maintained/ determined by an internal food safe container, and each compartment is fastened to a center panel by strong magnets.

The final solution allows the user to remove and reorganize various compartments based on his or her own preferences.
